Sarasota Bayfront Park

At the heart of Downtown Sarasota, not only do you get awesome views in every direction you turn but you’re right in the middle of Sarasota. Don’t pass up a stop at this park if you’re driving through or looking for some fresh air. With the park’s fitness trail there are plenty of benches, swings, artwork from Ringling School of art along the trail, you’ll be spending hours here relaxing.

Sarasota Nathan Benderson Park

Sarasota’s Nathan Benderson Park, already recognized as one of the premier world class rowing and aquatic sports centers, has been selected to be the site of the World Class Rowing Championships in 2017. But the park is for more than sculling; this park is for all kinds of water sports. From canoeing, kayaking, paddle boards, along with races including dragon boat races from local and international events, triathlons, 5K runs and is open for failiy activities and festivals as well.

Myakka River State Park

Where civilization meets rustic and wild nature. With plenty of walking trails to alligators, wild birds (Ospreys, Red Tail Hawks, Bald Eagles) this is the place to experience raw Florida nature. With plenty to do including biking, hiking, kayaks, fishing, and more. This is the site to take in all of mother earth’s beauty.

Oscar Scherer State Park

Nature lovers rejoice. Here you can find a natural place in the sun here at Oscar Scherer State Park near Sarasota, Florida. Whatever nature adventure you seek, this is the place. With 15 miles of trails, camping grounds, canals for fishing and kayaking or just visiting the park for a family picnic.

Sarasota Payne Park

Payne Park is a gorgeous secluded park to spend part of your day. With a rolling greenbelt, tree lined walking paths, with a large playground and water feature your kids will love, you will find yourself spending more time here than you believed. Park also allows you to bring your dog. Interestingly enough there’s some great history that comes with this new area.

Casey Key/North Jetty Park

North Jetty Park sits nestled between the Gulf of Mexico, the Venice Jetty, and the Intercoastal waterway on the south end of Casey Key. The park is set against numerous trees with have tall pine trees, sand dunes and tropical foliage that makes for a view of nature you can’t miss out on. With numerous amenities for all ages, it’s a wonderful place for friends and family alike to relax and sight see.
